Introduction

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you save a Word document that contains equations as a Rich Text Format (RTF) file, the equations in the saved RTF file may change unexpectedly.
  • Assume that you open a large xml file that contains many E2o Holders in Word 2013. When you save it as a .docx file, Word may crash.
  • When you open a Word document in Word 2013 in compatible mode, the dates may incorrectly use the left-to-right (LTR) layout instead of the right-to-left (RTL) layout.
  • Assume that you programmatically insert a content control into the header of a Word document. When you programmatically save the document, the content control saves incorrectly.
  • You may experience slow performance when you create or update a table of contents in a document that contains many headings.
