Introduction

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you open two Excel workbooks in two Excel instances, and then you apply a custom table style to both workbooks. You then try to copy and paste data between these two workbooks. In this situation, the paste operation fails. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
    Microsoft Excel cannot paste the data.

  • Assume that you open a workbook that contains an ActiveX combo box control in Excel 2013. You click the combo box and select the first item, and then you save the workbook in .xlsx file format. When you open the workbook, the combo box is empty (no item is selected).

  • Assume that the Workbook Calculation option is set as Automatic in Excel Options > Formulas. When you open an Excel workbook that contains many complex worksheets, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
    • Excel crashes.
    • Excel stops responding.
    • You receive an "Out of memory" error message.
