INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you programmatically insert a content control into the header of a Word document. When you programmatically save the document, the content control saves incorrectly.
  • Assume that you have a Word document that contains a text box that is protected with an editing restriction of No changes (Read-Only). You are able to edit it, But when you copy and paste the text box, you cannot move or edit the pasted text box.
  • After you install Office 2010 Service Pack 2 (SP2), when you try to open a document that contains corrupted bookmarks, the document does not open. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
    Word was unable to read the document. It may be corrupt.

  • Assume that you have a Word document that contains an image. You insert a hyperlink to a bookmark to the image. When you save the document as a PDF or XPS file, the hyperlink saves incorrectly.
