Assume that you remove all the paths to a storage area network (SAN) storage device from a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2). The storage arrays support asymmetric logical unit access (ALUA). When you try to perform one of the following operations, the computer crashes:
- Open the Microsoft Multipath I/O (MPIO) console.
- Switch to the MPIO tab in the Properties dialog box of a disk that is managed by MPIO.
- Run the Mpclaim.exe command together with the -b, -v, or -d option from the command prompt.
