Symptoms



Consider the following scenario:
  • You clone the Calibrui module in a multilingual Windows Embedded Compact 7-based OS design.
  • You modify one string text message in the cloned resource file (Calibrui_Clone.rc) for a non-English language.
  • You build the operating system design for a run-time image.
In this scenario, the updated message is not applied to the resource file of the non-English language in the GWES executable file (GweUser.exe).

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.

This update does not replace any other updates.
