INTRODUCTION

This article describes that a country-specific update is available to provide a POS extension for the integration with the Russian fiscal printer family, Shtrih-M, in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

The integration is implemented by using the AX POS Extensibility framework. Therefore, the integration consists of both prebuilt POS binaries and integration source code that is a part of the Retail Software Development Kit, which enables Microsoft Dynamics AX POS to extend the functionality with new options or fiscal printer models.

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 installed to apply this update.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.
