Consider the following scenario in Project Allocator in Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011:
When you do this, you notice that a rate not found error occurs for the second project, that references a step in Alloc Method 2 for the first project, even though the second project is not set up to run this second allocation method.
- In Project Maintenance (PA.PRJ.00), you set up a project with allocation methods for both Alloc Method 1 and Alloc Method 2.
- In Project Maintenance (PA.PRJ.00), you set up a second project with an allocation method for only Alloc Method 1.
- You create transactions for both projects that have to be allocated.
- You open Allocation Processor (PA.PRO.00) and then click the Allocate Company button to start allocation processor.
When you do this, you notice that a rate not found error occurs for the second project, that references a step in Alloc Method 2 for the first project, even though the second project is not set up to run this second allocation method.
