INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you run an add-in that displays a custom task pane in an Office 2013 application. When you switch between document windows, it takes longer than expected.
  • When you close a file that has the Read-Only Recommended check box selected in Word 2013, the file id is deleted. Additionally, when the SharePoint library is synchronized by OneDrive, the file is also deleted from the local OneDrive folder.
  • Assume that you open a Word 2013 document that is created from a template that contains linked objects, such as linked Excel charts. When you click No in the Do you want to update this document with the data from the linked files dialog box, the linked objects in the document are still updated unexpectedly.
  • When you paste some plain text into a paragraph that is formatted by a custom style that derives properties from another custom style, the formatting of the text surrounding the pasted text is changed incorrectly.
  • When you print a document that contains some Arabic text in Word 2013, the actual printed document differs from the print layout.
  • When some content controls which cover table cells that span multiple columns, you are unable to reply to or forward an email message that contains the content controls.
  • When you use the orange text to highlight the differences between an old and a new version of an item in Outlook 2013, the orange text is difficult to read against a white background.
  • When you try to register an account in a Blogger blog in Word 2013, you receive the following error message:
    Word cannot register your account.
