  • When Word 2013 background saves a document, Word can become unresponsive to user input while saving.
  • When you use a macro to enable the background spelling check function in Word 2013, background spelling check function does not run as expected.
  • When you change the proofing language in Outlook 2013, the spelling check function is not updated as expected.

  • Assume that you open a Word 2013 document that is created from a template that contains linked objects, such as linked Excel charts. When you click No in the Do you want to update this document with the data from the linked files dialog box, the linked objects in the document are still updated unexpectedly.
  • When you paste some plain text into a paragraph that is formatted by a custom style that derives properties from another custom style, the formatting of the text surrounding the paste text is changed incorrectly.
  • When you save or open a protected document in Word 2013, changes that you make by using VBA to the protection type or protection password do not persist correctly.
  • When you print a document that contains some Arabic text in Word 2013, the actual printed document differs from the print layout.
  • You experience layout issues in Word 2013.
  • When you press the BACKSPACE key to delete some words and use input method editor (IME) to type some other words, the result is incorrect.
  • Assume that you create a VBA event that is set to start when you enter a content control in a Word 2013 document. Then, you backspace into a content control. When you enter a content control, the VBA event is not triggered.
  • After you select the Use printer metrics to lay out document check box on the Advanced tab in the Word Options dialog box in Word 2013, table autofit may be incorrect in documents.
  • When some content controls cover table cells that span multiple columns, you cannot reply to or forward an email message that contains the content controls.
  • When you close a window, sometimes Word 2013 crashes.
  • When you cross reference a footnote by displaying the page number in a Word 2013 document, incorrect page number is displayed.
  • When you try to register an account in a Blogger blog in Word 2013, you receive the following error message:
    Word cannot register your account.
  • When you have a frame such as a floating table with text-wrapping that breaks across pages and there is text next to the frame in a Word 2013 document, the footnote text may not appear if there are footnotes in the text.
