Consider the following scenario in Allocation Processor in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
You create allocation groups in General Ledger to calculate indirect costs, and you create an allocation method in Allocation Method Setup (PA.MET.00) with values in either PTD Indirect Grp or YTD Indirect Grp. Then you run Allocation Processor (PA.PRO.00).
When you do this, you realize that records are being written to the Project-Task Indirect Cost Source Amounts Audit (PJINDSCRAUD) table with zero amounts. This slows down Allocation Processor and also creates unnecessary records in that database table. The expectation is that if the amount is zero, a record will not be written to the table.
