WLAN may not work if we keep switching airplane mode between On and Off and adding device

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. On a Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 computer, if you keep switching the Airplane mode between On and Off, and meanwhile, if you keep trying to add device from the PC settings panel, randomly you may find that the computer cannot detect the wireless network any longer. Once the issue occurs, you will have to restart the computer to get the wireless functionality back.

This is caused by a known issue in the WLAN AutoConfig service.
