Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You set up a Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 farm that uses the Managed Metadata Service.
  • You change the sorting option for a term or termset.
  • You change the custom or local custom properties for the term or termset.
In this situation, the sorting option is reverted to the default setting.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, apply the following updates:
2850065 Description of the SharePoint Server 2013 hotfix package (Coreserver-x-none.msp): December 10, 2013
2850024 Description of the SharePoint Server 2013 cumulative update package (SharePoint server-package): December 10, 2013
