FIX: The IMediaSeeking::SetPositions method does not return the current position of the frame in Windows Embedded Compact 7

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You run an application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device.
  • The application calls the IMediaSeeking::SetPositions method.

    For example, the application passes the CurrentPosition value as follows:

    IMediaSeeking::SetPositions(&CurrentPosition, AM_SEEKING_AbsolutePositioning|AM_SEEKING_SeekToKeyFrame|AM_SEEKING_ReturnTime, NULL, 0);
In this scenario, the SetPositions method returns a CurrentPosition value that is not updated by using the current frame position. Instead, the CurrentPosition value is returned as the original value that was passed to the method.
