Microsoft Dynamics AX Application Integration Framework (AIF) is updated to support publishing Microsoft Dynamics AX services to the Cloud by using an AIF Microsoft Azure Service Bus Adapter. Microsoft Dynamics AX services can currently be published to IIS. However, these services are only accessible over a local network.
This hotfix enables compatibility between Microsoft Dynamics AX AIF and the Microsoft Azure Service Bus. It allows mobile and Cloud-based applications to communicate with a Microsoft Dynamics AX instance over the Internet.
Using the AIF Microsoft Azure Service Bus Adapter, Microsoft Dynamics AX services are hosted in IIS and configured to listen to service messages from the Service Bus. The Service Bus acts as a relay that makes building external applications that integrate with Microsoft Dynamics AX easier. Network configuration is not required to allow incoming messages to reach Microsoft Dynamics AX services for messages that are sent through the Service Bus.
