Error message when you enter a plus sign on the dial pad in Lync for Mac 2011


Symptoms

Assume that you want to make a call by using Lync for Mac 2011. You enter a plus sign (+) on the dial pad when you try to dial a telephone number. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
