FIX: The LastModified column of a virtual product in the catalog database is not updated in Commerce Server 2009 R2

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a virtual catalog XML file that has a VirtualProduct element that does not have the LastModified property.
  • You import the virtual catalog XML file into a catalog database by using Catalog Manager in Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 R2.

In this scenario, the LastModified column of the virtual product in the catalog database is not updated to the current date and time. This problem prevents the virtual product from being exported during an incremental export.
