Assume that you start an Office 2013 application, for example, Word 2013, and then you press F1 to open the Word Help window. When you search for help in the window, the search result appears in a new window.

How to determine whether my Office installation is Click-to-Run or MSI-based:
  1. Start an Office 2013 application, such as Word 2013.
  2. On the File menu, click Account.
  3. For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installations, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installations, the Update Options item is not displayed.
