AX MRP ETL Trace
DescriptionFile name
ETL Trace for Dynamics AX MRP components. This file is collected after user is prompted to reproduce the problem. Once customer selects the option to start tracing, MRP ETW tracing is enabled {8E410B1F-EB34-4417-BE16-478A22C98916} and then start collecting data. Customer click on the option to stop data collection and then ETL trace is collected. The maxfile size = 8192(8 gig) and the data collector set (trace) will only run for 15 minutes max.

In addition to collecting the information that is described earlier, this diagnostic package can detect one or more of the following symptoms:

  • Verify SQL Server 2008 R2, typically SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 should be installed.
  • Global SQL Trace Flags are enabled and could affect SQL’s performance
  • Dynamics AX 2012 RTM version detected without Rollups
  • Dynamics AX 2009 RTM version detected without Rollups
  • Dynamics AX 2009 SP1 version detected without Rollups
  • Compatibility of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
  • Can't find or connect to a valid AOS instance
  • A %Component% Event Trace Log file was collected
