Symptoms


You can delete a posted free text invoice unexpectedly in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Cause

When you select a posted free text invoice together with a non-posted free text invoice, the active method of the CustInvoiceTable data source is executed and there is no condition for the multi-select records. Therefore, the posted invoice is also deleted. In the active method of the CustInvoiceTable data source, the "setAllowedit" method has been called , in which another method, the "allowEdit" method, has been called where the code has been written only for the current select record.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
