FIX: Error 0x80070534 When You Rename Administrator Account in Windows 2000 Terminal Server Session


Symptoms

If you rename the Administrator account in a Windows 2000 Terminal Server session, COM+ Services cannot look up the local Administrator account and obtain its security identifier (SID). The following event is logged in the event log:

Server Application ID: {............}
Server Application Name: Customer_App_Name
Error Code = 0x80070534 : No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.

Cause

This problem occurs because the account name is obtained from a localized string table.

Resolution
