INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You open the Internet Options dialog box in Windows Internet Explorer, and then you add a website to the Websites list of the Local intranet item.
    • You clear the Enable Protected Mode check box for the Local intranet item in the Internet Options dialog box.
    • You click a hyperlink that links to the new website in the Research pane in Word 2010.
    In this scenario, Internet Explorer appears for several seconds and then exits.
  • When you open an encrypted document in Word 2010, the Find button in the Editing group on the Home tab is disabled. Additionally, when you press Ctrl+F, the Navigation pane is not displayed.
