INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Outlook 2013. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Outlook 2013. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issue that this update fixes

After you install update KB2817630, the Navigation pane (folder view) is not visible in Outlook.

This issue occurs because a reference is matched to the wrong data structure. This causes the minimize button in the Navigation pane to be rendered at a size that is larger than expected. Therefore, the minimize button prevents the Navigation pane from being displayed.

How to uninstall this update

Windows 8

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. If you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
Type windows update, tap or click Settings, and then tap or click View installed updates in the search results.
In the list of updates, locate and then tap or click update 2825632 to select it.
Tap or click Uninstall.

Windows 7

Click Start, and then click Run.
Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
Click View installed updates.
In the list of updates, locate and then select update 2825632.
Click Uninstall.
