FIX: Host definition is not displayed in TI Designer in a Host Integration Server 2010 environment

Symptoms

When certain COBOL files (for example, host definition files or existing assemblies) are imported in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment, the host definition is not displayed in Transaction Integrator (TI) Designer. Instead, you receive the following error message:

Index and length must refer to a location within the string
Parameter name: length
Note The host definition files and assemblies work fine when consumed.

Cause

This problem occurs because the parameter length is calculated incorrectly when you import the COBOL files.

Resolution

Cumulative update information
