Forms Authentication Filter Foes Redirect to Login Page When a Cookie Expires

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When a cookie expires, the MSCSFirstRequestedURL value in the cookie is not set to the page where the cookie expires, but left at the last set value. The user is not sent to the page that they requested becasue the MSCSFirstRequestedURL cookie value was not set before the redirection to the authentication page occured.

The code for handling an "Access Denied" error sets this value as expected to the page where the event occurs.
