Symptoms

When you insert the same image into two photo galleries, Microsoft FrontPage only prompts you to save the image once. Any changes that you make to one image affect both images. For example, if you crop the image on one page, it is cropped on the other page as well.

Cause

This problem occurs when only one version of the image is saved in your web.

Resolution

Do not use the same image for two photo galleries, unless that image is going to be exactly the same in both galleries.

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:
Import the image into the web twice, and use the second image for the second photo gallery.

-or-
When you modify an image and then save its page, FrontPage prompts you to resave the image. Rename the modified image when you are prompted.
