Symptoms

After you apply the Web server folder traversal vulnerability patch from the following Microsoft Web site you may receive the following error message when you attempt to administer public folders:
The Operation Failed, ID no. 80004005

Resolution

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
