Internet Explorer 10 freezes when you click "Stop script" on a script freeze dialog box in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012

Symptoms

Assume that you use Internet Explorer 10 on a computer that is running Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012. You receive a script freeze dialog box and then click Stop script. In this situation, Internet Explorer 10 freezes.

To resolve this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to the following Microsoft website:
