AltGr key is displayed incorrectly on the Italian on-screen keyboard in Windows 8

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you set the language input method to Italian in Windows 8, the on-screen keyboard does not display the AltGr key. Instead, the AltGr key is labeled as a second letter "C." However, this second letter "C" key functions exactly like the AltGr key and is located where you expect to find the AltGr key on Italian hardware keyboards.
