A new case is unexpectedly associated with an existing case in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2


This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 for all regions.

Symptoms

You use case management in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 to create a new case. When you create the new case when an existing case is selected on the list page, the case is unexpectedly associated with the selected case. You would expect that the case association (on the Associations fast tab) would be blank.

Resolution

Hotfix information

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.
