FIX: "Report as finished" journal is not reversed when you cancel a subcontract item's packing slip in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1

Symptoms

A bill of material (BOM) has been set up with a BOM line for subcontracting in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1. This BOM line is attached to the last operation in the route. When you start the production order, a purchase order is created for this BOM line. Posting the packing slip updates the BOM consumption and route card on the production order. Since the operation is the end job, the Report as Finished journal is also posted. When the user reverses the packing slip, this also reverses the BOM consumption and Route card journal. However, in this scenario, the Report as Finished journal is not reversed.

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method name that contains the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by viewing the KBxxxxxx.txt file against the objects in the AOT. Therefore, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note KBxxxxxx.txt is a placeholder for the KB article number of the installed hotfix.

File information

This hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
