Error “Lot transaction record missing” when you try to release a receipt batch from a two step transfer with a lot/serial tracked item

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Inventory in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

If the LotSerT.INTranLineID and LotSerT.INTranLineRef do not match (are not the same value), when you try to release a receipt batch for the lot/serial tracked item, an error will occur.

Lot transaction record missing for line '<number>' in batch '<batch number>' inventory item '<Inventory Item ID>': The batch will not be released.
