FIX: You receive an unbalanced voucher error message when a Sales Order contains a dimension in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

Symptoms

You select the Sales tax code combinations option in the Rounding field for a Sales Tax Group in the General Ledger of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. You create a Sales Order that contains a dimension such as Cost Center. When you post the Sales Order journal, you receive an unbalanced voucher error message.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Objects that are affected

This hotfix affects the following objects:

\Classes\Tax.xpo, method: adjustroundingdiff()
\Classes\Taxcashdisc.xpo, method: calcandinserttaxes()

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method name that contains the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by viewing the KBxxxxxx.txt file against the objects in the AOT. Therefore, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note KBxxxxxx.txt is a placeholder for the KB article number of the installed hotfix.

This hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
