FIX: A quantity cannot be picked when the "Financial negative inventory" option is not selected in the costing model in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

You use a costing model such as FIFO in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.
You make sure that the Financial negative inventory option is not selected in the costing model.
You post a Purchase Order packing slip for a specific quantity of a fixed asset.
You create a Sales Order line for the same specific quantity of the fixed asset that you posted.
You try to post the Sales Order Invoice.

In this scenario, the Sales Order Invoice is not posted and you receive an error message that resembles the following:

n.nn cannot be picked because only n is/are available from the inventory.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix affects the following object:

\Classes\Assetpost.xpo, method: createinventorysoldtransaction()

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method name that contains the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by viewing the KBxxxxxx.txt file against the objects in the AOT. Therefore, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note KBxxxxxx.txt is a placeholder for the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
