Symptoms

You set the Flushing Principle option to Manual for some materials in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. When you view the Picking List journal for a Production Order, materials that have the Flushing Principle option set to Manual are included in the picking list. You would expect that these materials would not be included in the picking list.

Cause

This problem may occur when there are other materials included in the picking list that have the Flushing Principle option set to Start.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Objects that are affected

This hotfix affects the following objects:

\Classes\Prodjournalcreatebom.xpo, method: createlines()
\Classes\Prodjournalcreatebom.xpo, method: setparmform()

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method name that contains the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by viewing the KBxxxxxx.txt file against the objects in the AOT. Therefore, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.

Note KBxxxxxx.txt is a placeholder for the KB article number of the installed hotfix.

This hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
