Consider the following scenario in Project Allocator in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
When you do this, you notice that the amount of the labor transactions without an employee ID is overwritten by the amounts of the transactions with an employee ID which causes labor to be overstated.
- You setup allocation groups in General Ledger to calculate indirect costs for Project Controller.
- You create project transactions for labor, some with an employee ID and some with a blank employee ID.
- You run Indirect Rate Allocator (AL.IRC.00) to calculate the indirect rates.
When you do this, you notice that the amount of the labor transactions without an employee ID is overwritten by the amounts of the transactions with an employee ID which causes labor to be overstated.
