Symptoms

When you create a custom resource and attempt to package the resource, the following error message occurs in the Pup.log file:
CC1: Item can't be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

Cause

This is caused by an incorrectly formatted connection string name.

Resolution

The connection string must be named connstr_db_resourcetype. The resource type is the value of s_ResourceType in the systemprops table.
