FIX: ObjectDisposedException exception when you run a load test in Visual Studio 2010 and in Test Manager 2010

Assume that you run a load test in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or in Microsoft Test Manager 2010. Additionally, assume that the network is unstable, and there are multiple reconnections between a test controller and test agents during the load test. In this situation, the test controller (QTController.exe) may crash and an ObjectDisposedException exception may occur. Additionally, the following error is written to the event log:

Object Disposed Exception:
(QTController.exe, PID Number, Thread Number) Exception data being reported in Watson: Exception: ObjectDisposedException
Message: Safe handle has been closed

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you install the hotfix if the affected files are not being used. We recommend that you close all Visual Studio 2010-related components before you install the hotfix.
