Symptoms

In Internet Explorer 10, emoji characters are not visible and control glyphs are missing on emoji-capable platforms that are running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1). Control glyphs include such elements as the arrow keys in the scrollbar.

Resolution
