Consider the following scenario:
- You use Address Book policies to provide a multi-tenant service to users in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2 (SP2) environment.
- The users use Microsoft Outlook 2010 to access the Exchange servers.
- Outlook 2010 requests information about the configured Outlook Protection rules so that Outlook can apply Information Rights Management (IRM) templates before it sends mail to the server. This behavior is included in the Protect Before Send feature in Exchange Server 2010.
- Outlook stores this information in an XML file in the local profile. This file contains all the configured Outlook Protection rules.
