Hotfix information

Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Update package installation information

To apply this update, install the Server.msp package on computers that are running the following server roles:
  • Lync Server 2010 – Standard Edition Server
  • Lync Server 2010 – Enterprise Edition - Front-end
  • Lync Server 2010 – Enterprise Edition – Standalone Audio Video Conferencing Server
Note After you install this update, we recommend that you clear the cache in Windows Internet Explorer before you try to join a meeting. This is because you cannot join a meeting if a Javascript file is cached. To clear the cache in Windows Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
  1. In Internet Explorer, open Internet options.
  2. Switch to the General tab.
  3. Click the Delete… button in the Browsing history section, and then click OK.

Removal information

To remove this update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.

When you try to uninstall this update, you may be prompted to insert the source CD in the CD drive. If this behavior occurs, insert the source CD, or provide the path where the source files can be found.
