FIX: IP address of a virtual user changes when you run a load test if IP switching is enabled in Visual Studio 2010

Consider the following scenario:
  • You want to run a load test by using a test controller and test agents in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.
  • You configure the test agents to enable IP switching.
  • You run the test.
In this scenario, the IP address of a single virtual user may change during a test.

Note The IP address changes are visible in the Internet Information Services logs.

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have Visual Studio 2010 SP1 installed.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you install the hotfix if the affected files are not being used. We recommend that you close all Visual Studio 2010-related components before you install the hotfix.
