Navigating Using Bookmarks Causes Content Not to Scroll

Symptoms

When you navigate to a Web page in a different frame than the current frame by using a bookmark, the content in the different frame that is marked with the bookmark may not scroll. Also, any text fields that have data currently entered may lose the data if you navigate by using a bookmark.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Internet Explorer version 5.5. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
