1. | In Microsoft Excel, click Options on the Tools menu. |
2. | Click the View tab. Click to select the Formulas check box, and then click OK. |
3. | Select the range of cells that contain the long formulas or long strings, and click Copy on the Edit menu. |
4. | Switch to a text editor or word processor, paste the formulas or strings into the word processor, and perform a replace operation. |
5. | Copy the changed formulas or string to the Clipboard. |
6. | Switch to Microsoft Excel and click Paste on the Edit menu. |
7. | On the Tools menu, click Options. |
8. | On the View tab, click to clear the Formulas check box, and then click OK. |
