Task scheduler suddenly stops triggering until every Sunday at a specific time

Symptoms

On a machine that is configured with one or multiple tasks in the Task Scheduler. You install or update Windows Live Essentials 2011.
In this scenario, you may notice that all the tasks trigger on scheduled time until every Sunday at a specific time. The tasks after that time are no longer triggered.

Note: You may not receive any errors or failure notification in the event logs. The Task scheduler service is running, however no further tasks are triggered.

Cause

The problem occurs after installing or updating Windows Live Essentials 2011.

Workaround

The problem seems to occurs after the SOXE task for Windows Live ran. To workaround this problem, disable the SOXE task of Windows Live from Task Scheduler and all the others tasks would start to run properly.

More Information

After installing Windows Live Essentials 2011, it creates a task called "Extractor Definitions Update Task". The purpose of this task is to update the definition file for the Windows Live Social Object Extractor Engine. The task can be found under, Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows Live\SOXE.
