"The signup domain 'org' derived from '<TenantDomainName>.org' is not a valid domain" error message when you use the Hybrid Configuration wizard in an Exchange Server 2010 environment

Symptoms

Assume that you try to configure a Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 hybrid environment for Outlook Live users in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment. To do this, you use the Hybrid Configuration wizard. Additionally, the domain names of the Outlook Live users use the following format:
TenantDomainName.org

In this situation, you cannot configure the hybrid environment, and you receive the following error message:
The signup domain 'org' derived from 'TenantDomainName.org' is not a valid domain.

Cause

This issue occurs because the Hybrid Configuration wizard assumes that the domain names of the Outlook Live users use the following format:

TenantDomainName.onmicrosoft.com

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
