INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you submit and approve status updates and publish projects at the same time in Project Server 2010, you experience poor performance. 
  • When there are lots of resources in a database in Project Server 2010, it takes you longer than expected to open a project. Additionally, you cannot save the project.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problems that are described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problems described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

To install this hotfix package, you must have Project Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed.
