  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
  2. Locate and then select the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Access Connectivity Engine\Engines
    Note If you install the 32-bit version of Office 2013 on a 64-bit version of Windows, the registry subkey is located at the following path:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Access Connectivity\Engine\Engines
  3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
  4. Type WorkingSetSleep, and then press Enter.
  5. In the Details pane, right-click WorkingSetSleep, and then click Modify.
  6. In the Value data box, type a value that is larger than 0, and then click OK.
