Summary

If you use special characters in database names, problems may occur in Commerce Server. When you are creating a database, Microsoft recommends that you:
Use names that are simple and do not contain special characters. The following are basic valid characters: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, -, _,
Follow the Commerce Server standard naming convention with sitename_commerce and sitename_dw.

NOTE: Each resource can be unpackaged to its own database. For example, sitename_resource.
