FIX: Artifacts are displayed when an XAML-based application renders a graphic again on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You run an Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device.
  • The application renders a graphic on the screen of the device. For example, the application renders a rectangle.
  • The application renders the graphic again.
In this scenario, lines remain on the screen where the edges of the original graphic were located.

Note This issue occurs when you use Graphics Device Interface (GDI) or Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) to render graphics.
