You receive Programming Bulletproof Error 11500 in Service Call Entry

Symptoms

 Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

  • You open Service Series Setup Maintenance (SD.000.00) and clear the Auto Number Service Call check box.
  • You set Primary Use Option to WorkOrders.
  • You open Service Call Entry (SD.200.00) and enter a Service Call.

When you do this, you receive this error message:

Programming Bulletproof Error 11500

Exception: System.InvalidCastException Conversion from string "" to type 'Date' is not valid.

Resolution
